B-32GL, MSN 12125 (test registration F-WWIU), was delivered from Toulouse to Haikou on July 20–21, 2024, via a transit stop in Muscat, and entered Hainan Airlines service on July 26, 2024 — the carrier's first-ever Airbus A320neo. The aircraft is a 320-251N variant (CFM LEAP-1A powered) leased from CMB Financial Leasing, configured with 4 business and 168 economy seats. B-32GL's arrival marked a significant fleet evolution for Hainan, which had previously operated exclusively A330s and Boeing types for its widebody needs alongside earlier A319/A320ceo narrowbodies.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model replicates Hainan Airlines' signature livery: white upper fuselage transitioning to solid red on the lower section, separated by the airline's flowing red-and-gold wave stripe. "Hainan Airlines" in dark text and "海南航空" in red occupy the forward fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is red, dominated by the large gold phoenix-like corporate logo. The registration B-32GL is visible on the upper white fuselage forward of the wing root. Sharklets — confirmed in both the image and the A320neo specification — are red on the outer face with the gold logo element on the inner surface, matching the tail treatment.
