1:400 Diecast: Antonov An-225 Mriya CCCP-82060 with Buran Space Shuttle — 1989 Paris Air Show (YY Wings 40008495)

CCCP-82060, MSN 01-01, is the sole completed Antonov An-225 Mriya — the heaviest aircraft ever built at 640 tonnes MTOW. Designed to transport the Soviet Buran space shuttle, it carried the orbiter piggyback on its dorsally-mounted cradle to the 1989 Paris Air Show, where it debuted with airshow display serial "387" on the nose. The aircraft later passed to Ukrainian operator Antonov Airlines and was destroyed at Hostomel (Antonov Airport) in February 2022 during the opening hours of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Livery & Visual Details

White fuselage with a single thin red horizontal cheat line at mid-fuselage; registration "CCCP-82060" in red Cyrillic on the aft fuselage. Both twin vertical stabilizers carry the USSR red flag with gold hammer-and-sickle. Six white engine nacelles, each with a distinctive red intake-band ring; no winglets on the straight main wing. The Buran orbiter sits on dorsal pylons: off-white body with black thermal-protection tile leading edges and black engine bells. "Буран" in black Cyrillic on the orbiter fuselage.
