B-2769 is a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner operated by Xiamen Airlines, MSN 41539 / Line Number 227. Delivered on 25 October 2014, it is the second 787-8 in the Xiamen Airlines fleet, following B-2768 (MSN 41538, delivered August 2014). Both airframes arrived within weeks of each other, marking the carrier's first widebody Dreamliner fleet build-out. B-2769 has operated Xiamen Airlines' medium-haul and long-haul routes including Beijing Daxing, and carries the standard Xiamen Airlines "Dreamliner" livery with the handwritten-script "dreamliner" inscription on the aft lower fuselage — a Boeing-applied styling element on early 787 deliveries.

The model presents the Xiamen Airlines 787 livery: white upper fuselage, with a light-blue/turquoise sweeping stripe along the lower fuselage that widens under the wing root. A thin wavy dark-blue accent line separates the white and teal sections just below the windows. The vertical stabiliser is deep blue with the airline's blue crane logo in white. "XIAMENAIR" in blue capitals on the mid-fuselage, followed by Chinese characters for the airline name. Registration B-2769 and "BOEING 787-8 DREAMLINER" text appear near the tail. Characteristic 787 raked wingtips. Engine nacelles depicted in white with smooth-finish exhaust — consistent with GEnx-1B representation at 1:200 scale.
