1:200 Diecast: Korean Air Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner HL8515 "New Livery" (SQ Wings L2150)
HL8515 is Korean Air's first Boeing 787-10, MSN 66878. The aircraft completed its first flight on April 23, 2024 and was delivered to the airline on July 20, 2024. Korean Air launched its inaugural 787-10 commercial service on July 25, 2024 from Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita — making HL8515 the type-leader for the carrier's entire 787-10 fleet. This model depicts the aircraft in Korean Air's refreshed livery, distinct from the older "Mordern" scheme.
Livery & Visual Details
The fuselage upper section and vertical stabilizer are painted in Korean Air's vivid sky blue. "KOREAN" appears in large dark-blue block letters on the forward fuselage. A South Korean national flag is displayed mid-aft, with the registration HL8515 and "B787-9 DREAMLINER" type text printed below it. The Korean Air Taeguk logo appears on the tail fin and on each engine nacelle. Wingtips are the 787's characteristic raked style — smooth upward sweeps integrated into the wing profile, not discrete winglets. Engine nacelles are white with silver intake lips and dark fan faces.
Model Craft & Collector Value
SQ Wings item L2150 renders the 787-10 in 1:200 die-cast alloy. HL8515 as the fleet-lead 787-10 makes this a significant registration for Korean Air collectors. Comes with metal display stand. Features rotatable main gear tires, steerable nose wheel, and spinning engine fan blades — the interactive feature set characteristic of SQ Wings' current production run.
