HL8515 is Korean Air's first Boeing 787-10, MSN 66878. The aircraft completed its first flight on April 23, 2024 and was delivered to the airline on July 20, 2024. Korean Air launched its inaugural 787-10 commercial service on July 25, 2024 from Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita — making HL8515 the type-leader for the carrier's entire 787-10 fleet. The fuselage upper section and vertical stabilizer are painted in Korean Air's vivid sky blue. "KOREAN" appears in large dark-blue block letters on the forward fuselage.
