1:200 Diecast: Hainan Airlines Boeing 787-9 B-1499 "IHG Hotels & Resorts" Livery (JC Wings L2051)

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner registered B-1499 carries MSN 62721, line number 614. First flight was recorded on 8 October 2017, with delivery to Hainan Airlines on 19 October 2017. In early 2024, the aircraft was repainted into the "IHG Hotels & Resorts" special livery to mark the partnership between Hainan Airlines Group and InterContinental Hotels Group. Two General Electric GEnx-1B turbofans power the airframe.

Livery & Visual Details

The IHG Hotels & Resorts livery wraps the entire fuselage in midnight blue covered with scattered white star and dot motifs—a "starry night" aesthetic. "海南航空 Hainan Airlines" in white leads the forward fuselage, followed by "洲际酒店集团" (IHG Hotels & Resorts in Chinese characters) below it. A large "IHG HOTELS & RESORTS" wordmark dominates the mid-fuselage. The Chinese phrase "尽情出发 如你所愿" appears diagonally aft of the wing. The vertical stabilizer continues the midnight blue theme, carrying Hainan Airlines' white spiral phoenix logo with registration B-1499 below. Engine nacelles are white with "IHG 1" branding. Raked wingtips are standard 787 Dreamliner design.

Model Craft & Collectibility

JC Wings produced L2051 in diecast alloy at 1:200 scale. The model reproduces the intricate starfield fuselage tampo print and dual-language forward markings. A display stand is included.
