1:200 Diecast: Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner N1015B "Dreams Take Flight" (SQ Wings L2128)
N1015B is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner that completed its first flight on 2 August 2019 before delivery to Biman Bangladesh Airlines on 23 December 2019. During the intervening months, Boeing operated the airframe as a promotional demonstrator in the "Dreams Take Flight" special livery, showcasing the 787-9 at the Dubai Airshow 2019 and other venues. After delivery, N1015B was re-registered with Biman Bangladesh in their standard livery. This model captures the aircraft during its Boeing demonstrator period, in one of the most photographed wide-body demonstrator schemes of that year.
Livery & Visual Detail
The livery divides the fuselage into two distinct zones. The forward section — from nose to mid-cabin — is deep navy blue, printed with white "Dreams Take Flight" and "DREAMLINER" text in large sans-serif lettering, alongside the Boeing Employee Community Fund logo. The aft section transitions into vibrant magenta/deep pink with abstract heart and geometric patterns. The vertical stabilizer carries a large white "787" numeral over a purple-to-magenta gradient. Registration N1015B is applied in white on the aft fuselage above the horizontal stabilizer. Engines are painted to match the magenta livery. Raked wingtips characteristic of the 787 family. Landing gear extended in available product images.
Model Craft & Collectibility
SQ Wings produced this 1:200 scale diecast metal model. The 787-9 mould captures the type's distinctive raked wingtip devices and GEnx nacelle profile. "Dreams Take Flight" livery models represent a short production window — Boeing retired the promotional scheme upon delivery of the airframe.
