1:200 Diecast: EVA Air Boeing 787-10 B-17812 "Star Alliance" (SQ Wings L2043)

B-17812 is EVA Air's eighth Boeing 787-10, delivered direct from Boeing's North Charleston facility on 6 May 2023 — and the first EVA 787 to roll off the line already wearing Star Alliance livery. The aircraft carries MSN 63519 / Line Number 1142 and is powered by two GEnx-1B turbofans. It ferried CHS–TPE on a 16-hour SAF-fuelled delivery flight, arriving in Taipei as both a new widebody and a rolling billboard for EVA's alliance membership.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white, dominated by large dot-matrix "STAR ALLIANCE" lettering across the forward cabin. The EVA Air name and green rectangular logo appear beneath it near the nose. The vertical stabilizer is solid black, carrying the five-shape silver Star Alliance roundel. "DREAMLINER" appears in black on the lower aft fuselage. Raked wingtips — the upswept, unsplit extension native to the 787-10 — are clearly visible, and the GEnx-1B exhaust exhibits chevron nozzles on the engine cowlings.

SQ Wings cast this 1:200 diecast in metal with a metal display stand. At 34 cm × 30 cm, it fills the shelf at the full scale impression of the 787-10's 68.28 m wingspan compressed to 1:200. As EVA's first 787 with factory-delivered Star Alliance paint — a distinction limited to this specific airframe — L2043 carries a collectibility angle that standard-livery 787 models in this scale cannot replicate.
