B-6139 is MSN 088 — the 88th Airbus A380 manufactured — delivered to China Southern Airlines on 14 September 2012. China Southern was the only Chinese carrier ever to operate the A380, receiving a total of five examples between 2011 and 2013. B-6139 operated high-density routes from Guangzhou to Beijing, Los Angeles, Sydney, and London until the fleet was grounded and subsequently stored from late 2022. The aircraft was later registered as N115PK under Jet Midwest.

Livery & Visual Details

The model reproduces China Southern's classic A380 livery: white upper fuselage with dark navy blue painted on the nose cone and lower fuselage, separated by a thin gold pinstripe and a secondary light-blue stripe. Chinese characters reading "中国南方航空" appear in black on the forward upper fuselage above "CHINA SOUTHERN." The registration "B-6139" and "AIRBUS A380-800" text are on the rear fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is solid bright blue with the red Kapok flower logo. Engine nacelles are light grey. Wingtips are the A380's characteristic blended upward-sweep design. Two dorsal blade antennas and a SATCOM fairing are visible on the fuselage crown.
