B-208P (MSN 63710, Line Number 786) was delivered to China Eastern Yunnan Airlines on 30 March 2019, joining the Shanghai-based group's Yunnan subsidiary fleet. The 787-9 Dreamliner operates the airline's thin long-haul and cross-region routes out of Kunming, with seat configuration C29 Y295. The Yunnan Company designation identifies it as part of China Eastern's provincial operating unit for Yunnan Province.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries the standard China Eastern livery: white fuselage with "CHINA EASTERN" in blue above the window line on the port forward section, and Chinese characters reading "zhong guo dong fang hang kong" in red on the starboard equivalent position. Mid-fuselage markings include the subsidiary text "yun nan gong si" in red Chinese characters near the rear doors on both sides, confirming the Yunnan Company assignment. The registration B-208P appears in black below the rear windows and on the vertical stabilizer root. "DREAMLINER" is printed in smaller black script beneath the registration. Wingtips are the 787's characteristic raked design. Engine nacelles on both GEnx-1B engines display visible chevron nozzles at the exhaust ring. The tail carries the standard China Eastern red-and-blue stylized swallow logo.
