B-2428 is a Boeing 747-412F(SCD), MSN 28263. The airframe was first delivered to Singapore Airlines Cargo in 1996 as 9V-SFE, before transferring to Great Wall Airlines in May 2006, and then to China Cargo Airlines in June 2011 as B-2428. China Cargo Airlines, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines Group, operated this freighter on intercontinental cargo routes including routes to Anchorage and Singapore. The 747-400F(SCD) side cargo door configuration made it suited for outsize freight.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white with a prominent multi-band cheatline in red over dark blue running from nose to tail. "CHINA CARGO" in bold red letters with Chinese characters reading China National Aviation Cargo appears on the forward fuselage, with a small red double-chevron ahead of it near the cockpit. Registration B-2428 is in black below the cheatline aft of the wings. The nose cone tip is red. The vertical stabilizer carries the China Eastern parent-group circular logo in red and blue. Classic upward-curving winglets are fitted at the wingtips with the same red/blue logo on the inward face.

Model Craftsmanship & Collectibility

1:200 scale diecast metal construction. The SQ Wings L2118 release renders the 747-400F in China Cargo's distinctive red-striped scheme. The 747-400 freighter's characteristic nose cargo door and large main deck are captured in the mould. Four under-wing engines in light grey complete the profile.
