1:200 Diecast: China Airlines Boeing 787-9 B-18811 "Plum Blossom Livery" (SQ Wings L2292)

B-18811 is the first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner ever delivered to China Airlines, carrying MSN 68385. The aircraft rolled out from Boeing's North Charleston facility and completed delivery in October 2025, opening a new chapter for the Taiwanese flag carrier that had previously operated only the 737 and 777 families in widebody service. China Airlines ordered 24 examples of the type to replace aging A330s; B-18811 is the first of that fleet. The 787-9 stretches 63 metres and seats up to 296 passengers, powered by two GE GEnx-1B turbofans.

Livery & Visual Details

The model renders China Airlines' current white livery: "CHINA AIRLINES" titles in dark charcoal on the forward fuselage, a fine pinstripe running the window line, and a large pink plum blossom emblem dominating the tail. "DREAMLINER" lettering appears below the forward door. The GEnx-1B engines are cast in graphite grey. Wing tips are raked (no winglets — standard 787 configuration). Rolling gear deployed; silver display stand included.

SQ Wings released L2292 as a pre-order item ahead of the aircraft's commercial entry into service, making this one of the earliest available representations of China Airlines' 787-9 in 1:200 diecast. Diecast metal construction with tampo-printed markings. Rotating main wheels and steerable nose gear.
