1:200 Diecast: Atlas Air Boeing 747-8F N863GT "Last Jumbo" (SQ Wings L2015)
N863GT carries MSN 67150 (Line Number 1574), first flown on 18 December 2022. Atlas Air accepted the aircraft on 31 January 2023 — the final Boeing 747 ever manufactured, closing a 55-year production run that began in 1968. The ferry flight from Everett (PAE) to Cincinnati (CVG) on 1 February 2023 traced a "747" numeral over Washington State on FlightRadar24, a widely observed farewell gesture. The fuselage carries a "Joe Sutter — Forever Incredible" sticker honouring the 747's chief engineer. Atlas Air operated the aircraft in a joint-livery with Apex Logistics.
Livery & Visual Detail
The model shows the Atlas Air / Apex Logistics joint scheme: an emerald-green metallic upper fuselage, grey underside and wings. The vertical stabilizer features a geometric pattern in dark blue, grey, a diagonal yellow stripe, and a thinner lime-green stripe. A thick vertical yellow band runs on the upper fuselage aft of the wing root. "ATLAS AIR" in blue lettering on the forward fuselage above the wing, with "TLL" and a globe motif below. Registration N863GT on the aft lower fuselage. The 747-8's characteristic raked wingtip extensions are present. Four underwing engines. The upward-opening nose cargo door profile and main-deck cargo door outline are visible on the port side.
Model Craft & Collectibility
SQ Wings L2015 renders the 747-8F in 1:200 diecast alloy. N863GT is the only airframe that holds the "last Boeing 747 ever built" designation — a fixed historical fact no future production can change. Its combination of the Apex Logistics joint livery and the Joe Sutter memorial marking makes this model a document of the 747 program's closing chapter. A Flaps Down variant (L2015FD) also exists for collectors who prefer a different configuration.
