1:400 Diecast: T'Way Air Boeing 777-300ER HL8706 (Phoenix PH11990)

HL8706 is a Boeing 777-367(ER), MSN 41430, originally delivered to Cathay Pacific as B-KQK on 5 December 2013. After stored from late 2024, the aircraft was leased to T'Way Air and delivered on 24 February 2025 — becoming one of the South Korean LCC's first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft as the carrier expanded into long-haul operations. T'Way commenced 777 services from Seoul Gimpo to Paris-CDG and Rome-FCO in late April 2025.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears T'Way Air's distinctive livery: a bright red upper fuselage and nose-to-tail, with the lower third of the fuselage in white. The forward fuselage carries the "t'way" logo in large stylised red lettering with a small green dot above the "t." The vertical stabilizer is solid red with a large white stylised "t" and green dot. "twayair.com" is printed on the engine nacelles. The registration HL8706 appears on the lower rear fuselage and vertically along the tail leading edge. Wingtips are conventional raked tips without winglets, consistent with the 777-300ER's standard configuration. Two GE90 high-bypass turbofans with white nacelles and dark intake lips are mounted under the wings.
