1:400 Diecast: Thai Airways Airbus A321neo HS-TOB (Phoenix PH12060)

HS-TOB (MSN 12942, A321-251NX) joined Thai Airways in February 2026 as the second member of the airline's incoming 32-strong A321neo fleet — THAI's first narrowbody type since the Boeing 737 exited the fleet years earlier. Built at Airbus Hamburg Finkenwerder with the LEAP-1A26 powerplant configuration designated 251NX, HS-TOB arrived as THAI was completing its court-supervised rehabilitation and rebuilding short-to-medium haul capacity.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries THAI's current livery: white forward fuselage, a purple, gold, and magenta triple-stripe sweeping rearward, and a deep purple vertical stabilizer bearing the gold-and-magenta Chada (traditional Thai headdress) logo in gold and deep pink. The "THAI" wordmark in dark text runs on the upper forward fuselage alongside the orchid motif. "HS-TOB" and "AIRBUS A321NEO" appear on the lower rear fuselage in black text. Wingtips are sharklets, standard on the A321neo family.

Model Craft & Collectability

Phoenix released PH12060 alongside HS-TOA (PH12059) to document THAI's inaugural A321neo deliveries. Both are cast in diecast alloy at 1:400 with antenna fitted. The A321neo marks THAI's first narrowbody re-entry into 1:400, and demand from THAI-focused collectors is expected to be consistent. Model dimensions: approx. 11.1 cm length × 9 cm wingspan.
