B-58551 is the first Airbus A350-1000 ever delivered to a Taiwanese carrier, carrying MSN 761. STARLUX Airlines received the aircraft from Toulouse on 5 January 2026, completing a direct delivery ferry TLS–TPE. It entered scheduled service on 10 February 2026. MSN 761 also carries a broader significance: it was selected by Airbus as the 1,000th A350 delivered across the entire programme, making B-58551 a dual milestone aircraft — first A350-1000 for Taiwan, and the 1,000th A350 worldwide. The type is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears STARLUX's "Carbon Fiber" special livery, developed to pay tribute to the A350's advanced carbon-fibre composite airframe. The white fuselage transitions into a sweeping gold-bronze gradient stripe along the lower section, which rises and merges into the tail. The vertical stabiliser and rear fuselage are covered in a distinctive black-and-gold pixelated pattern — an abstract representation of a carbon-fibre weave. "STARLUX" is lettered in black on the forward fuselage with small gold-dot accents. A large "1000" in black dot-matrix numerals marks the rear fuselage, documenting the milestone delivery. The A350 family's characteristic blended raked wingtips are present. Engine cowlings are finished in black, contrasting against the metallic Trent XWB intake lips.

Model Craft & Collectability

Phoenix Models PH12036 is produced in diecast metal. The A350-1000 mould — longer than the -900 variant — correctly represents the stretched fuselage. The "Carbon Fiber" livery was only unveiled with B-58551 and distinguishes this release from STARLUX's earlier A350-900 fleet models. Dual-milestone status and the rarity of the first A350-1000 Taiwan delivery make this one of the most collectible STARLUX releases to date.
