RA-96102 is an Ilyushin Il-96-400VVIP operated by the Russian Federation Air Force Special Flight Detachment, carrying MSN 97693201002. Delivered on 27 July 2016, it serves as one of Russia's primary government and state transport aircraft. The Il-96-400VVIP is a modified derivative of the Il-96-300 widebody, extended in range and fitted with advanced communication equipment and VIP interior configurations for state-level missions.

Livery & Visual Details

The model's fuselage is light grey/off-white. A tricolor stripe in blue, red, and white — matching the Russian national flag — runs horizontally along the lower fuselage. The vertical stabilizer displays the Russian flag design in white, blue, and red bands. "Ил-96" in Cyrillic appears on the nose. Winglets carry small Russian flag motifs at their tips. Four PS-90A1 turbofan nacelles are light grey with dark intake lips. A prominent dorsal hump fairing along the upper spine — characteristic of the VVIP variant — houses communication equipment.
