A4O-HMS is a Boeing 747-8H0 BBJ, MSN 39749 (line number 1466), with a first flight on November 16, 2012 and delivery to the Royal Flight of Oman in December 2012. Powered by four GEnx-2B-67 engines, it serves as a VIP transport asset for the Sultan of Oman's Royal Household — one of the rarest operational configurations of the 747-8 platform, which Boeing produced in only small VIP-configured quantities alongside commercial passenger and freighter variants.
