1:400 Diecast: Korean Air Boeing 737 MAX 8 HL8567 "2025 New Livery" (Phoenix PH04669)
HL8567, MSN 63449 (Line Number 9281), touched down at Seoul Gimpo on September 18, 2025, two days after its contract delivery from Boeing Field. It was delivered in Korean Air's redesigned 2025 brand livery — the first 737 MAX 8 in the fleet to wear the new scheme. The aircraft operates short and medium-haul routes from Korean Air's Seoul hub.
Livery & Visual Details
The 2025 livery refreshes the carrier's signature sky-blue fuselage with a white underside separated by a sweeping arc. "KOREAN" appears in large blue script on the forward cabin. The tail retains the Taegeuk motif — two interlocking S-curves — in contrasting blue tones on a blue background. Blended winglets curve upward from each wingtip, finished in the body blue. LEAP-1B engine nacelles in white with a small Taegeuk badge on the forward lower nacelle.
Model Craft & Collectability
Phoenix PH04669 at 1:400 captures the 737 MAX 8 airframe, including the LEAP-1B's distinctive compound-curve inlet lip. As the first Korean Air MAX in the 2025 scheme, this release marks the livery transition within the Phoenix 737 MAX series. Diecast alloy with rolling gear.
