1:400 Diecast: Korean Air Airbus A321neo HL8509 "2025 New Livery" (Phoenix PH04668)

HL8509 is an Airbus A321-272NX, MSN 11191, first flown on 7 February 2023. The aircraft carries Korean Air's redesigned livery — the carrier's first major visual identity refresh in decades — and was confirmed operating in the new scheme by October 2025. HL8509 is among the earliest A321neos to appear in Korean Air's new identity.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears Korean Air's current identity: a bright sky-blue fuselage and vertical stabilizer, with "KOREAN" in large bold blue lettering on the forward white section. The tail displays a stylized wave-like design on the blue fin. Wingtips are Airbus Sharklets — distinctive upward-curving blade extensions in light grey. The forward fuselage carries a SkyTeam alliance logo. Engine nacelles are white and light grey with dark intakes. No chevron nozzles on the CFM LEAP-1A powerplants.

Phoenix released PH04668 in late 2025, making it one of the first 1:400 representations of Korean Air's refreshed A321neo livery.
