PH-BQD (MSN 33713, Line 465) first flew on 12 December 2003 and entered KLM service ten days later on 22 December 2003. Named "The Flying Dutchman," it carries KLM's centennial markings applied in 2019—commemorating the airline's founding on 7 October 1919. KLM is the world's oldest airline still operating under its original name.

Livery & Visual Detail

Full KLM blue Wave livery. On the port forward fuselage, the centenary badge reads "KLM Royal Dutch Airlines" in full, with the stylised "100" numeral in white and the crown-and-initials badge. Aircraft name "The Flying Dutchman" appears below the cockpit windows. White tail fin with KLM crown logo in blue. GE90 nacelles in white with blue "KLM" legend on the intake cowl. Registration PH-BQD visible mid-fuselage. All gear legs extended.

Phoenix Models PH11579, Platinum Series. Diecast metal, 15.93 cm / 6.21 in length, 15.23 cm / 5.94 in wingspan. Wide-body 777-200ER mould with large-diameter GE90 fan face. Centenary livery was applied to select KLM fleet aircraft during 2019.
