1:400 Diecast: Garuda Indonesia Airbus A330-343 PK-GPY "Pokémon Air Adventures" (Phoenix PH04645)

PK-GPY, MSN 1671, is an Airbus A330-343 delivered to Garuda Indonesia on October 14, 2015. The aircraft served a brief period in storage from October 2021 to October 2022 before returning to active operations. In early 2025, PK-GPY was repainted into the "Pokémon Air Adventures" special livery in partnership with The Pokémon Company, becoming one of the most-photographed Garuda aircraft at Tokyo Narita and Tokyo Haneda that year.

Livery & Visual Detail

The fuselage is white. The lower fuselage carries a wave-pattern band in light blue and aqua, running nose to tail, evoking ocean movement. Multiple Pikachu figures are printed across both sides of the fuselage: a large forward-facing Pikachu appears below the cockpit; a cluster of overlapping Pikachu figures runs along the mid-fuselage below the "Garuda Indonesia" title; additional figures continue toward the tail. Each engine nacelle features a small green Pokémon character on the outboard face and a Pikachu head design on the intake ring. The vertical stabilizer is deep navy blue with the white Garuda bird symbol rendered in flowing lines. "Garuda Indonesia" is printed in dark letters on the upper forward fuselage. "Pokémon Air Adventures" branding appears on the nose below the cockpit. Registration PK-GPY appears on the vertical stabilizer. Blended winglets with aqua wave accent on the inboard base. Landing gear deployed.

Model Craft & Collectibility

Phoenix Models produced this 1:400 diecast in the complete Pokémon Air Adventures livery. The collaboration livery was applied to a single Garuda A330 and ran for a limited campaign period in 2025, making this a time-specific release. Phoenix reproduced the full character artwork across both fuselage sides.
