1:400 Diecast: COMAC C919 B-001F Fifth Flight Test Aircraft (Phoenix PH11993)
B-001F is the fifth C919 flight test aircraft, carrying manufacturer serial number MSN 105. The C919 is China's domestically developed narrow-body airliner, designed to compete with the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families. The flight test program involved six dedicated test airframes; B-001F played a role in the systems and performance certification phase before the type received CAAC type certification in September 2022. This is not a customer-delivery aircraft — it is a COMAC-operated test machine.
Livery & Visual Details
The model carries the COMAC flight test livery: white upper fuselage with a dark navy blue lower fuselage band. Chinese characters reading the full COMAC company name appear in red below the cockpit windows alongside the "C919" logo. Registration B-001F is displayed within the blue fuselage band aft. On the upper wing surface, B-001F is repeated in red. The vertical stabilizer is lime green with large white "C919" lettering — a striking contrast to the white and blue lower fuselage. Sharklets fitted at the wingtips. Rolling gear deployed.
Model Craft & Collecting Notes
Phoenix PH11993 renders the C919 test aircraft in 1:400 diecast metal. The C919 program's test aircraft livery, with its green tail and full COMAC corporate markings, differs sharply from the customer delivery schemes; this release captures a historically significant test-program configuration that will not be reproduced once commercial fleet deliveries complete.
