B-HNK is a Boeing 777-367, MSN 27510, line number 248, delivered to Cathay Pacific on 29 September 1999. In June 2017, the aircraft was painted in "The Spirit of Hong Kong" (香港精神號) special livery and wore it until April 2024, when it was repainted back to standard colours. Over those seven years the scheme became one of the most photographed Cathay liveries, appearing at destinations across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Livery & Visual Details

The model captures the full "Spirit of Hong Kong" scheme. The fuselage is predominantly white; a dense pattern of stylised pale teal clouds, swirls, and floral motifs covers the fuselage from tail cone forward, fading towards the nose. The vertical stabilizer is solid dark green with the Cathay Pacific brushwing logo in white. "CATHAY PACIFIC" is lettered in dark green above the forward windows. Below the mid-fuselage window line: "The Spirit of Hong Kong" in an elegant script, followed by the Chinese characters for the same phrase, accompanied by a small red square "h" logo adjacent to the registration B-HNK. The engine intake lips are painted light teal; nacelle bodies are white-to-grey. No chevron nozzles. Wingtips are Boeing 777 raked wingtips—swept-back extensions, no vertical winglet element. Landing gear is deployed in the static position.

Phoenix PH04146 reproduces the multi-layer teal pattern across the fuselage in tampo print on a diecast metal body. The "Spirit of Hong Kong" livery ran for exactly seven years on a single airframe, making this release the only 1:400 record of B-HNK in what collectors widely regard as Cathay Pacific's most iconic special scheme of the 2010s.
