1:400 Diecast: British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWB Landor Livery (Phoenix PH04627)
G-BNWB (MSN 24334, Line Number 281) made its first flight on 30 November 1989 and was delivered to British Airways on 8 February 1990. The 767-336ER served BA for decades and carries the Landor livery, the scheme designed by the Landor Associates consultancy and worn by British Airways from 1984 to 1997. This livery defined BA's visual identity through the airline's privatization era and expansion into long-haul markets.
Livery & Visual Details
The Landor scheme presents a light grey upper fuselage above the window line, with a deep dark-blue lower half extending across the belly and onto the engine nacelles. A thin red stripe separates the grey and blue fuselage bands. "BRITISH AIRWAYS" appears in blue serif lettering on the forward fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is deep blue with the British Airways coat of arms — a lion above a crown — centered near the top, and a stylized Union Flag "speedwing" element beneath it. No winglets are fitted; the wings end at standard blunt 767 tips. The Rolls-Royce RB211-524H engines are housed in dark-blue nacelles consistent with the Landor palette. The registration G-BNWB is printed on the rear lower fuselage.
Model Craftsmanship & Collectible Value
