G-XWBS (MSN 652) completed British Airways' Airbus A350-1000 order when it was delivered on 21 February 2024 — the 18th and final A350-1000 in the BA fleet. The delivery flight lasted approximately 90 minutes from Toulouse Blagnac to London Heathrow. As the last of the type to enter BA's fleet, G-XWBS carries a quiet historical note: the aircraft that closed the chapter on one of British aviation's largest widebody orders.

Livery & Visual Details

The model shows the current BA Chatham Dockyard livery: white fuselage with a deep navy blue belly stripe running nose-to-tail and matching navy blue engine nacelles. The Speedbird logo in red and blue sits on the nose; "BRITISH AIRWAYS" in navy appears on the forward fuselage. The vertical stabilizer displays the iconic red-and-blue Speedbird motif against a dark navy background. A small red accent stripe marks the outer edge of the raked wingtips, which are the integrated, swept-upward extensions standard on the A350. "G-XWBS" and "AIRBUS A350-1000" appear in dark text on the lower rear fuselage. Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 circular badges are visible on the navy nacelles.

Phoenix produced PH04673 in diecast alloy at 1:400 scale, capturing BA's standard current-generation widebody. G-XWBS as the fleet-completing airframe adds a specificity that pure livery releases lack — collectors tracking BA's A350 programme will want this registration over a generic release.
