VT-ANP is a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, MSN 36287, line number 158. The aircraft was delivered to Air India on 3 June 2014, ferried CHS–DEL on the delivery flight. It carried the Maharaja livery standard for years before receiving a "Mahatma Gandhi" commemorative tail design in December 2019. The aircraft operated on Air India's long-haul network before being stored at Victorville, California on 1 October 2025.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears Air India's classic livery. The fuselage is gloss white with a thin red stripe running along the lower fuselage and curving upward to the tail. The vertical stabilizer is bright red, bearing the stylised white Maharaja figure in Air India's traditional livery identity. On the forward fuselage: "एअर इंडिया" in red Devanagari script above "AIR INDIA" in red capitals, with a small Indian flag near the cockpit. The registration "VT-ANP" and "BOEING 787-8" appear in red and black respectively aft of the wing. "DREAMLINER" is printed in a red stylised font on the aft fuselage alongside a small accompanying logo. Each engine nacelle carries an orange and yellow sunburst logo on its forward face. Both Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines display chevron exhaust nozzles. Wingtips are 787-series raked wingtips. Landing gear is deployed for display.
