7T-VJZ is an Airbus A330-202, MSN 667, which first flew on 11 April 2005 under the test registration F-WWKR and was delivered to Air Algérie on 1 June 2005 — named "Teddis" upon entry into service. Powered by two General Electric CF6-80E1 turbofans, the aircraft operates on Air Algérie's medium- to long-haul network connecting Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport with destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and West Africa. 7T-VJZ has maintained continuous service with the flag carrier of Algeria, accumulating over two decades of operation as one of the core widebody assets in the airline's fleet.

Phoenix renders 7T-VJZ in Air Algérie's current livery. The fuselage is white. A horizontal red cheatline runs along the passenger window belt from nose to tail, with the windows integrated as small white squares within the stripe.
