MSN 41804, this airframe is documented as having been used as Soviet General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev's personal state transport aircraft — a distinction that makes it one of the most historically significant Il-62 registrations in existence. The Il-62 entered Aeroflot service in 1967 as the USSR's first intercontinental jet airliner, and CCCP-86612 represents the type at the height of Soviet civil aviation.
