Registration B-2024 carries MSN 11101, one of the Ilyushin IL-62s operated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) during the jet age of Chinese civil aviation. The aircraft now resides at the Datangshan Chinese Aviation Museum in Beijing, preserved as a tangible record of the Soviet-designed four-engine long-haul jet that served CAAC routes before China's transition to Western-built fleets. The IL-62 entered Chinese service in the 1970s, linking Beijing with destinations in Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model replicates the classic CAAC scheme: white upper fuselage separated from a light grey belly by a thin jagged dark blue cheatline running full length. Chinese characters reading "Zhongguo Minhang" appear on the forward fuselage and vertically along the grey tail fin in dark blue script. A red-winged CAAC emblem is positioned near the nose.
