1:400 Diecast: Korean Air Airbus A350-941 HL8598 "First Korean Air A350" (NG Models NG39102)

HL8598 is Korean Air's first Airbus A350-941, carrying MSN 689. Originally slated as Asiana Airlines HL8585 before the Korean Air–Asiana merger was completed, the aircraft was repainted and delivered directly to Korean Air on December 27, 2024. It ferried from Toulouse (TLS) to Gimhae (PUS) for repainting, then repositioned to Gimpo (GMP) on January 2, 2025, entering scheduled service on January 27, 2025. HL8598 is also the first A350 delivered in Korean Air's current livery, opening a new chapter for the carrier's wide-body fleet.

Livery & Visual Details

The model presents a distinctive light blue fuselage with "KOREAN AIR" in dark blue capital letters on the forward upper fuselage. A small "SKYTEAM" logo and text appear below the airline name. The tail fin carries Korean Air's stylized red and blue logo. The A350's upward-curved wingtips are reproduced in matching grey. Engine nacelles are light grey, each carrying a small circular Korean Air logo on the outer casing. Registration HL8598 appears on the rear fuselage and tail fin in small dark lettering.
