1:400 Diecast: XiamenAir Boeing 737-800 B-5160 "Second Generation Reform Movement" Livery (NG Models NG64156)

B-5160, MSN 35045 (Line Number 2050), was delivered to Xiamen Airlines on September 19, 2006. A Boeing 737-85C(WL) variant, the aircraft served XiamenAir's domestic and regional network for over 16 years before entering storage in November 2022. In January 2024, B-5160 was transferred to China Postal Airlines. The livery captured here — known as the "Second Generation Reform Movement" scheme, Chinese name 第二代改革乐章 — is the revised historical colors that XiamenAir applied in the late 2000s, distinct from the airline's current blue-dominant scheme.

Livery & Visual Detail

White fuselage with a two-tone blue cheatline below the window line: a thicker lighter-blue band with a thinner darker-blue stripe above it, curving upward toward the tail. Chinese characters reading Xiamen Airlines appear on the forward fuselage alongside "XIAMEN AIRLINES" in English. The registration B-5160 is visible on the rear fuselage and on the upper wing surface. The vertical stabilizer is white, carrying XiamenAir's stylized egret-and-letter logo in light blue. Winglets at each wingtip. Engine nacelles are light grey with silver intake lips.

Released by NG Models in January 2026 under item NG64156, this model documents B-5160 in the Second Generation Reform Movement livery — a scheme no longer in service, making this a historical record of XiamenAir's transitional identity period. The 737-85C(WL) tooling measures 9.87 cm in length at 1:400.
