Registration HB-IFA is Airbus A350-941, MSN 737, the first Airbus A350-900 ever delivered to Swiss International Air Lines. Ferried from Toulouse to Zurich on 9 October 2025 and named "Lausanne," it entered scheduled service on 25 October 2025 as the first of ten A350-900s on Swiss's order book. The airframe carries the "SWISS Wanderlust" livery — a design conceived by Frédéric Siegel and notable as the first large-scale livery applied to an A350-900 using a specialized adhesive wrap process rather than paint, marking a first in Airbus program history. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines, HB-IFA opened Swiss routes from Zurich to long-haul destinations previously served by the airline's A340 and 777 fleet.

The model captures the full Wanderlust scheme: a white upper fuselage gives way to an intricate band of red-and-white folk-art storytelling illustrations along the lower fuselage and engine cowlings, depicting Swiss landscapes, cultural scenes, and figurative silhouettes in a style rooted in Swiss graphic tradition. "SWISS" in bold red capitals marks the forward fuselage, with the dot above the letter I replaced by a white Swiss cross. The vertical stabilizer is solid red with a white Swiss cross centered on it. Wingtip sharklets are white, each carrying a small red cross at the tip that mirrors the tail. Engine nacelles continue the Wanderlust artwork on their outer surfaces.
