1:400 Diecast: Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 7 N7207Z "Heart Livery" (NG Models NG87002)
N7207Z (MSN 42590, line number 7570) first flew on October 10, 2019 at Renton — one of Southwest's early 737 MAX 7 airframes, built with CFM International LEAP-1B20 engines. The MAX 7 carries the smallest cabin in the MAX family, optimised for Southwest's high-frequency, point-to-point network. At the time of this model's release, N7207Z remained in storage pending FAA certification of the 737 MAX 7 variant, giving this diecast a distinctly pre-service character.
Livery & Visual Details
Southwest's "Heart Livery," introduced in 2014, wraps the fuselage in solid royal blue from nose to tail. The aft fuselage breaks into Southwest's signature cascade of red, yellow, and orange — a sweep of colour that climbs the vertical stabilizer and spills across the tail fin in angled blocks. A small blue heart logo sits below the forward cockpit windows. "Southwest.com" appears in white on the engine nacelles; "N7207Z" in black on the rear fuselage. Blended winglets carry tri-colour accents at their tips. The engine nacelles are blue with silver intake lips and smooth, non-chevron exhaust nozzles.
Model Craft & Collectible Notes
NG Models' 737 MAX 7 casting is a new mould introduced with this release, rendering the distinctive LEAP-1B nacelle profile accurately. Diecast metal construction with rolling gear. NG87002 marks the first 1:400 appearance of Southwest's MAX 7 in the Heart Livery; the pre-certification timing adds a documentation angle for MAX variant collectors.
