Serial 20343 is a Xian Y-20B Kunpeng from the same WS-20-powered production batch as serial 20341, confirmed in active service with the People's Liberation Army Air Force. The Y-20B's WS-20 turbofan—developed domestically by AECC Shenyang—replaced the earlier Russian-sourced D-30KP-2 engines and represents a key milestone in China's strategic airlift self-sufficiency. Serials in the 20340-range were among the first publicly confirmed Y-20B airframes in the PLAAF inventory.

20343 wears the identical PLAAF low-visibility scheme as fleet-mates: full-body dark matte grey, polished silver wing and stabilizer leading edges, PLAAF star insignia on both wing upper surfaces and the fin. The serial "20343" runs along the lower vertical stabilizer in light lettering. Unlike NG22025 (20341), this model is depicted with landing gear extended and deployed—gear doors open, nose and main gear struts visible with black tires—making the two serials visually complementary on a shared display shelf.
