1:400 Diecast: PLAAF Xian Y-20 11256 "Low-Viz / National Flag" (NG Models NG22023)

Serial 11256 is a Xian Y-20 Kunpeng heavy military transport operated by the People's Liberation Army Air Force. The Y-20 is China's first indigenously developed strategic airlifter, with maiden flight in January 2013 and entry into PLAAF service in July 2016. Capable of carrying up to 66 tonnes of payload, it serves the PLAAF's power-projection and strategic airlift requirements on missions both domestic and international.

Livery & Visual Details

This release captures the low-visibility livery variant: a uniform matte dark blue-grey covering the entire airframe — fuselage, wings, and empennage. The Chinese national flag appears on the vertical stabilizer as a fin flash in red with yellow stars. Red roundels with centered yellow five-pointed stars are visible on both wing upper surfaces, identifying it as a PLAAF asset. The fuselage carries the text reading "Zhongguo Kongjun" (Chinese Air Force) in light characters forward of the wing. Leading edges of wings and engine nacelle fronts are silver metallic. Four turbofan engines are mounted under the high-mounted wing in underwing pods.
