9H-RTU (MSN 473) started life as A7-ACA with Qatar Airways, delivered in May 2002. After nearly two decades with Qatar, the airframe transferred to Malta-registered Luke Air in late 2020 as 9H-RTU — one of only two A330-200s the airline ever operated. Luke Air, headquartered in Rome and founded in 2019, rebranded the aircraft in its striking abstract livery before the airline ceased operations in 2021, making this a short-lived and historically complete registration.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries Luke Air's bold scheme: a deep dark-blue fuselage overlaid with large irregular organic shapes in bright yellow and white. The nose cone is entirely bright yellow. "Luke AIR" is printed in white on the forward fuselage, with the "L" logo — a yellow and white intertwined design — on the dark-blue vertical stabilizer. The registration "9H-RTU" appears in black on the rear fuselage yellow section. The website "kolbeair.com" is printed in small text below the registration. Engine cowlings are bright yellow matching the livery accent. Wingtips are classic straight-tip (no winglets), typical of the A330-200 in this configuration. Two dorsal blade antennas are visible on the fuselage crown.
