HL8025 carries MSN 1611 and was delivered to Korean Air on March 27, 2015 — one of the carrier's youngest A330-300 frames. In 2025, Korean Air unveiled a refreshed brand identity and repainted selected widebody aircraft including HL8025 in the updated "Korean" livery, replacing the long-running Taeguk scheme.
