1:200 Diecast: Jet2 Boeing 757-21B G-LSAH "Friendly Low Fares" (NG Models NG42053)
G-LSAH carries one of the more travelled histories in the Jet2 757 fleet. MSN 24015, Line Number 148, rolled out of Renton in October 1987 and was delivered to Chinese state carrier CAAC as B-2802 on 27 October 1987. The airframe transferred to China Southern Airlines in November 1990, continuing domestic and regional operations under the same registration. In November 2006 it crossed hemispheres entirely: re-registered G-LSAH, it joined Jet2 as one of the Leeds Bradford-based carrier's core 757-21B workhorses. The aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 turbofans — the engine variant selected by the overwhelming majority of 757 operators for its proven reliability on short-to-medium leisure routes. G-LSAH served Jet2 for close to two decades before retirement, accumulating a total airframe lifespan of 35.9 years.
Livery & Visual Details
The model replicates Jet2's signature red-and-silver scheme. The fuselage is metallic silver-grey; the vertical stabilizer, engine nacelles, and wingtip extremities are painted in Jet2's corporate red. "jet2" appears in bold red lowercase on the forward fuselage, with the stylised overlapping "2" — the same graphic treatment used across the real fleet. The slogan "Friendly Low Fares" runs in red italicised script above the window line on the mid-fuselage, and a smaller "Jet2.com" identifier sits on the lower nacelle in white. The tail carries "Jet2.com" in vertical white lettering on red. The 757-21B variant retains classic raked wingtips — no Sharklets, no winglets — accurately reproduced on this tooling. The RB211-535E4 nacelles are smooth-capped with no chevron nozzle treatment, consistent with the real engine type.
Model Craft & Collectability
NG Models produced NG42053 at 1:200 scale in diecast metal alloy. At this scale the Boeing 757's famously narrow-body elongated silhouette — one of the longest single-aisle airframes ever built — reads clearly at 23.66 cm length. NG Models' 757-200 tooling captures the aircraft's distinctive high-mounted cockpit profile and slender fuselage cross-section. For collectors tracking G-LSAH's three-operator lineage (CAAC → China Southern → Jet2), this release provides the definitive 1:200 record of the aircraft in its final British livery.
