1:200 Diecast: Jet2 Boeing 757-200 G-LSAG (NG Models NG42054)

G-LSAG is a Boeing 757-21B, MSN 24014 (line number 144), that first flew as N1792B on 31 August 1987 before delivery to CAAC on 22 September 1987. It operated for China Southern Airlines as B-2801 from November 1990 until 2006, when it was reregistered G-LSAG and delivered to Jet2 on 23 November 2006. The aircraft served the UK leisure carrier for over a decade before being scrapped in November 2019, closing a 32-year service life. Power came from two Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 turbofans throughout its Jet2 career.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries Jet2's standard livery of the mid-2000s to retirement era. The vertical stabiliser is solid red with "Jet2.com" in white — the stylised "J" runs vertically along the leading edge, the rest of the logo extending rearward. The forward fuselage displays a large "Jet2.com" wordmark in red behind the cockpit windows, with the slogan "Friendly Low Fares" in red cursive lettering along the mid-section window band. Engine nacelles are finished in matching Jet2 red, each carrying "Jet2.com" in white beneath the intake. The fuselage is bare metal silver-grey. Wingtip treatment shows standard upswept winglets in silver-grey with a red accent stripe on the leading edge.

G-LSAG's operator history sets it apart from newer Jet2 757 deliveries: it entered service under CAAC when China's civil aviation was still state-operated, flew for China Southern during the airline's formative years as B-2801, then crossed to a British leisure carrier for its final chapter. NG42054 captures the aircraft as it appeared in Jet2 service, in the carrier's high-visibility red-and-silver scheme that became one of the most recognised short-haul liveries at UK regional airports.

Not a toy. Suitable for age 16 and above.
