B-17885, MSN 42118, a Boeing 787-9, was ferried from Paine Field (PAE) to Taipei on May 16–17, 2019, entering EVA Air's widebody fleet with a configuration of 26 business-class and 278 economy seats. Leased from Air Lease Corporation, the aircraft operates intercontinental routes from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, including transpacific services to North America and Europe.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white with a multi-tone horizontal stripe along the lower section: a broad dark green band transitioning to lighter green below, edged with a thin orange-red line at the base. The vertical stabilizer carries a dark green square emblem with a globe and stylized four-pointed star design in lighter green. "EVA AIR" appears in dark green block letters on the mid-fuselage, with "B-17885" on the aft fuselage. The nose area carries a large "787" graphic followed by dots — a type-designation flourish in the EVA style. Wing tips are raked, sweeping back continuously without upward extension. Engine nacelles are white.

NG Models NG55145 renders this EVA 787-9 in diecast metal at 1:400 scale. Rolling landing gear and antenna included, no stand. Model length approximately 15.7 cm, wingspan approximately 15 cm. Released February 2026.
