A6-EJB is an Airbus A320-251N (A320neo), MSN 10372, with initial test registration F-WWIN. The aircraft made its first flight on 8 March 2021 and was delivered to Etihad Airways on 1 December 2024, becoming one of the airline's first A320neo family deliveries. In December 2024, Etihad unveiled A6-EJB in a special promotional livery for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), an Indian Premier League cricket franchise, marking Etihad's partnership with the team. The aircraft made its inaugural flight in the CSK livery to Chennai on 10 December 2024, received with a water cannon salute.
Livery and Visual Details
The model captures a visually striking two-tone livery: deep Etihad corporate blue covers the forward fuselage and nose, while the aft section transitions to bright yellow — the Chennai Super Kings' team colour. "ETIHAD" appears in large white uppercase letters on the blue section, with the Arabic "الاتحاد" beneath it in white script. A dynamic pattern of flame-like golden elements runs along the mid-fuselage transition zone. On the yellow aft section, a large stylized dragon graphic in red and orange represents the CSK mascot, with "CHENNAI SUPER KINGS" and "SUPER KINGS" in white text. The vertical stabilizer carries Etihad's Facets of Abu Dhabi geometric pattern in blue and yellow. Engine nacelles are blue with a white Facets logo detail. The wingtips are sharklets, the defining visual of the A320neo family. Registration A6-EJB appears in white on the upper aft fuselage.
