1:400 Diecast: Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-323 N815NW (NG Models NG62068)
N815NW is an Airbus A330-323 (MSN 817) powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4168A engines. The airframe was delivered to Northwest Airlines on 23 February 2007 and transitioned to Delta Air Lines on 5 January 2010 following the Delta–Northwest merger — one of the largest fleet absorptions in U.S. aviation history. The -323 sub-variant designates the Pratt & Whitney-powered A330-300, distinguishing it from the General Electric CF6-powered -343 and the Rolls-Royce Trent-powered -303 variants.
Livery & Visual Details
The model wears Delta's current livery: glossy white upper fuselage with a deep navy blue belly sweeping upward at the wing roots. The vertical stabilizer is primarily navy blue with the iconic red-and-white Delta widget logo. "DELTA" appears on the forward fuselage in blue with a small red widget preceding the text. Registration N815NW and a small American flag are printed on the rear fuselage. Engine nacelles are deep navy blue with smooth circular exhaust cones — no chevron nozzles, consistent with PW4168A installations. Wingtip devices are the traditional A330 upward-angled winglets in medium grey, not Sharklets.
