D-ABNF, MSN 25140, was delivered to Condor Flugdienst on July 29, 1991. In 1996 the aircraft was repainted with a commission from New York-based pop artist James Rizzi, whose instantly recognizable style of bold outlines and densely packed cartoon figures covered the entire fuselage. The livery — known as "Rizzi Bird" — remained on D-ABNF until January 2002, making this one of the most celebrated special liveries in European leisure aviation of the 1990s. After leaving Condor, the airframe went on to serve Thomas Cook Airlines and L'Avion (as F-HAVN) before eventual retirement.

Livery & Visual Details

The white fuselage is covered end-to-end in James Rizzi's signature cartoon artwork: human figures, tigers, birds, stars, hearts, and abstract shapes in a dense palette of orange, yellow, blue, red, green, purple, and pink. "Condor" appears on the forward fuselage; "Condor Flugdienst" is printed above the registration "D-ABNF" on the aft section. The vertical stabilizer carries the Condor yellow sun logo with a black bird silhouette, with "James Rizzi" printed near the top of the fin. Wingtips are unmodified flat tips — no winglets. Twin CFM56-3 engines under the wings.

NG Models NG53205 uses NG's 757-200 tooling to reproduce this historically significant livery. The "Rizzi Bird" scheme is one of the most-requested Condor releases among 1990s European charter aviation collectors.
