1:400 Diecast: COMAC C909 (ARJ21-700) House Demonstrator (NG Models NG87106 Lite Edition)
The COMAC C909, commercially known as the ARJ21-700, is China's first domestically developed regional jet to enter airline service. Certified by CAAC in 2014 and entering revenue operations with Chengdu Airlines in June 2016, the C909 seats up to 90 passengers on routes across China and has since been operated by over a dozen Chinese carriers. NG Models' NG87106 represents the type in COMAC's own demonstrator color scheme — a generic house livery used for airshows and promotional materials, carrying no individual airline registration.
The model presents a white upper fuselage with a sweeping blue curve across the lower aft section and horizontal stabilizers. "中国商飞 COMAC" in blue lettering appears on the forward fuselage above the windows, flanked by the blue COMAC V-logo. "C909" is marked in both red (below the cockpit) and blue (aft fuselage). The tail fin is blue with white horizontal stripe accents and "C909" text along the leading edge. Wingtips are straight — the C909 carries no winglet modification. This is the NG Lite Edition: no landing gear or antennas are fitted, and surface detail is reduced versus the standard mold. No registration appears anywhere on the model. Length approximately 8 cm at 1:400 scale.

NG87106 is designed for collectors who want the C909 mold in COMAC's generic promotional colors as a reference piece for the type itself, independent of any specific airline operator. As the first widely available 1:400 C909 diecast release, it establishes the base mold that later airline-specific versions build on. The Lite Edition pricing reflects the reduced detail level versus airline-liveried releases in the NG87000-series.
