B-657Y holds MSN 10156 and was the first COMAC C909 delivered to COMAC Express — the commercial airline subsidiary operated by COMAC itself. The aircraft made its public debut at the Zhuhai Airshow in November 2024, where COMAC also officially rebranded the ARJ21-700 as the C909. Flying under COMAC's own airline brand, B-657Y represents the manufacturer's direct entry into commercial operations with its own regional jet product.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white with a sweeping dark-blue band that starts below the windows at the nose, widens progressively toward the tail, and extends up onto the vertical stabilizer. A lighter blue accent stripe runs along the upper edge of the dark band at the rear fuselage. "C909" appears in large light-blue stylized letters on the vertical stabilizer, angled diagonally. "COMAC EXPRESS" is printed in bold red block letters on the mid-fuselage below the windows, followed by Chinese characters "商飞快线" in red. A red stylized V-shaped bird logo follows the text. The registration "B-657Y" appears on the forward fuselage. Two rear-mounted engines with white nacelles are fitted high on the aft fuselage.

NG Models cast NG21032 on their C909 tooling, capturing the type's distinctive rear-engine, T-tail-profile layout.
