1:100 Scale: COMAC C919 "COMAC House Colours" (NG Models NG87121)

The COMAC C919 is China's first domestically developed narrow-body commercial jet, designed to seat 158–168 passengers in a standard two-class layout. The type entered commercial service with China Eastern Airlines in May 2023 after a development programme spanning nearly fifteen years. The C919 is powered by two CFM International LEAP-1C turbofans, placing it directly in competition with the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX families on short- to medium-haul routes.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model is finished in COMAC's manufacturer livery. The fuselage is primarily white. A deep blue stripe runs along the lower fuselage, curving upward toward the tail, where it meets a lime-green vertical stabilizer — COMAC's corporate colour combination. "COMAC" is printed in red on the forward fuselage, followed by Chinese characters reading "Zhongguo Shangfei" and the stylised blue-and-green COMAC logo. "C919" appears in red mid-fuselage. The vertical stabilizer carries "C919" in large white letters. Engine nacelles display "LEAP" in white lettering with the CFM red logo. Blended winglets at the wingtips, white. Model Craft & Collectibility

NG Models produced NG87121 as a 1:100 scale diecast metal model — not ABS plastic. At this scale the fuselage measures approximately 39 cm in length and the wingspan approximately 36 cm. The model features magnetic removable landing gear and spins freely on its blade fan blades. The all-metal stand attaches via a plastic cradle at the rear wing root. At 1:100, this is the largest diecast metal C919 model in standard retail production, significantly larger than the 1:200 and 1:400 versions in the same manufacturer's range.
