1:400 Diecast: China Southern Airlines Boeing 777-300ER B-2007 "WorldSkills Shanghai 2022" (NG Models NG73093)

B-2007, MSN 43221 (line number 1223), is a Boeing 777-31B(ER) delivered to China Southern Airlines on August 6, 2014, ferried from Paine Field via Tianjin to Guangzhou. The aircraft carries two GE90-115B engines and has remained continuously active in China Southern's long-haul fleet since delivery. China Southern selected B-2007 to wear the 46th WorldSkills Competition livery — the competition was originally planned for Shanghai in 2022 but was ultimately relocated; the livery itself became a lasting piece of aviation-themed promotional art, and B-2007 was photographed wearing it at Auckland, Vancouver, Tokyo Haneda, and London Heathrow as recently as early 2026.

Livery & Visual Detail

The upper fuselage is white with "CHINA SOUTHERN" and "中国南方航空" in black, and a second line reading "Skills to Change the World" visible below. The lower fuselage carries an intricate WorldSkills campaign design: the Shanghai skyline — including the Oriental Pearl Tower — in teal and blue anchors the lower edge, above which cartoon characters in trade workwear (hard hats, safety glasses, tools) populate a gradient flowing through blue, teal, green, and yellow. The text "上海2022年第46届世界技能大赛" in black runs across the upper white section above the windows. The registration B-2007 appears in black on the white rear fuselage above the window line. A cartoon character extends onto the nose area. The dark blue tail features the red kapok flower logo. Raked wingtips are standard 777 configuration.

Model Craft & Collector Notes

NG73093 is released as an "Ultimate" edition — NG Models' highest detail tier — featuring enhanced surface printing and mould fidelity on the 777-300ER tool. Released December 2025. Dimensions: approximately 18.5 cm length × 16.2 cm wingspan. Diecast metal with antenna detail and rolling gear, no stand.
