The COMAC C919 is China's first domestically developed narrow-body commercial jetliner, entering revenue service with China Eastern Airlines in May 2023. The "Shining Chinese Red" special livery was applied to mark the aircraft's commercial debut, featuring traditional Chinese cultural motifs on the lower forward fuselage. This ABS plastic model captures that milestone scheme with the dark blue "CHINA EASTERN" title and Chinese characters on the forward fuselage, the airline's red swallow tail logo, and the characteristic brownish-gold architectural graphic band along the cabin windows.
