B-919A carries MSN 107 and holds a singular place in aviation history: it is the world's first COMAC C919 delivered to a commercial operator. China Eastern Airlines received this airframe on December 9, 2022, following a delivery flight from Shanghai Pudong to Shanghai Hongqiao. B-919A entered commercial passenger service on May 28, 2023, making the C919 the first domestically developed Chinese narrowbody to enter revenue service — directly competing in the single-aisle market occupied by the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families.

Livery & Visual Details

The white fuselage carries "中国东方航空" in red Chinese characters on the upper forward section, followed by "CHINA EASTERN" in blue uppercase lettering. "C919" appears in red near the nose below the cockpit. "COMAC C919" is printed in black on the aft fuselage.
