1:200 Diecast: AVIC AG600M Kunlong B-0DCC "Prototype Livery" (NG Models NG66002)

B-0DCC, construction number 1003, is the first prototype of the AG600M — the enhanced firefighting and maritime rescue variant of China's AVIC AG600 Kunlong amphibian. The AG600 made its first land-based flight on 24 December 2017 from Zhuhai Airport; B-0DCC first flew as the AG600M prototype in June 2022, validating a higher maximum take-off weight and upgraded systems. The AG600 series is the world's largest civil amphibious aircraft in active development, with a wingspan of 38.8 metres and four Zhuzhou WJ-6 turboprops. It is designed for forest-fire suppression, maritime search-and-rescue, and ecological monitoring, capable of scooping 12 tonnes of water in 20 seconds.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries the prototype's golden-yellow upper surfaces — fuselage crown, wings, and engine nacelles — with silver-grey undersides and wing leading edges. The port vertical stabilizer displays the AVIC corporate roundel and the Chinese characters reading "Hángkōng Gōngyè" (Aviation Industry). "AG600M" is printed in black on the forward fuselage, beneath it the full name of Aviation Industry Corporation of China. Registration B-0DCC is marked in black below the horizontal stabilizer. The four six-bladed propellers are black-tipped, and the distinctive wingtip floats are silver. The aircraft's boat-hull fuselage and high-wing T-tail configuration are faithfully reproduced.
